We’re not sure how the final voting will take place (during the nomination phase you could vote every day) but we do know that starting on Sunday July 16th you will have the opportunity to truly make Lakeland Automall the Best of the Best in Lakeland and Polk County. We want to thank all of our customers for helping us get this far and it is a great privilege to be nominated – but it’s not over yet! Lakeland Automall was nominated in 5 of those categories:Īccording to the Ledger, they had over 65,000 Polk County residents vote during the nomination phase and the winners of the top 3 in the final round of voting will be invited to a special award ceremony where the first, second and third place winners will be announced. Starting Sunday July 16th and running through Sunday J– everyone will have the opportunity to pick from the nominated businesses and select their favorite in more than 50 different categories. The second part is where it get’s serious! Now we get to reach back out to our customers and get the real voting done. The original contest offered some lucky voter the chance to win $500 from the Ledger if they voted in at least 20 categories and registered with their email and some other personal information. Little did we know the contest was only the first part of the process – the nominations. It is a great honor to be recognized by our customers as a great place to do business and be supported by so many in our community. When all was said and done, Lakeland Automall was selected as one of the top 5 in 5 different categories (nobody knows the real outcome except the people at the Ledger who were sponsoring the contest).
These included restaurants, grocery stores, small businesses of every kind and even some surprising choices that many had never heard of before.

We reached out to our customers and asked to go to the provided link and vote for Lakeland Automall, Lakeland Ford, Lakeland Hyundai, Lakeland Auto Service and Lakeland Automall Collision Center, plus vote for any of their other favorite places around Lakeland and Polk County. A few weeks ago we were approached by the Ledger newspaper making us aware of a local competition that brought the community together to pick the best businesses in Polk County.
